The Neillsville Girls Basketball Team received the honor as the OnFocus Team of the Week for the period of January 9 – January 15, collecting 170 votes. The Warriors won the vote this week in a landslide, collecting nearly half the votes for the week.
OnFocus Team of the Week, January 9 – January 15
- Colby Boys Basketball – Colby throttled Abbotsford in nonconference basketball this week, 91-52.
- Neillsville Girls Basketball – Neillsville continues to dominate, and picked up a pair of lopsided wins this week. Neillsville dominated Owen-Withee 79-23 and Columbus Catholic 54-11 to improve to 9-0 in the Cloverbelt East, 12-1 overall.
- SPASH Boys Swimming – The Panthers defeated Marshfield 89-81 this week in WVC Boys Swimming.
- Spencer Boys Basketball(nominated online) – The Rockets took down Phillips in overtime, 63-55.
- Athens Boys Basketball – The Bluejays notched a pair of wins this week in the Marawood Conference North, wins over Chequamegon and Prentice. Athens has won 8 games in a row and is alone in first place atop the Marawood.
