Neillsville/Granton Softball Battles

We finished our game with Loyal on April 26 in Loyal. We left off where we ended: top of 6th inning, runners on first and second and tied 8-8. We were defeated by Loyal 19-8. Before the rain delay due to lightning, we played a very strong game. We had 14 hits for the game. Klarissa Canfield led with 3 hits. Keltie Schoen, Sydney Subke, Shylah Walk and Mindy Dix all had multiple hits as well.

The second game with Loyal we lost 20-10. We had 11 hits in this game. We scored in the first inning due to a passed ball. Then we scored 9 runs in the 3rd inning. Keltie, Shylah, Mindy, Sydney and Emerson Ormond all got multiple hits.
On April 25 we played in Columbus with another loss 11-1. Sydney Subke and Emerson Ormond each had multiple hits. We struggled on defense with 6 errors.
On Saturday April 27, we traveled to Amherst for a double header. First game we lost 5-1 and in the second game we lost 3-19. Klarissa, Mindy and Shylah all had multiple hits throughout both games. Klarissa pitched the first game and Mindy Dix pitched the second game.
On April 30- We took on Spencer in a double header at home. We walked away with 2 wins. First game: Win 7-11 We had 17 hits the first game. Canfield, Schoen, Ormond, Johansson each had 3 hits. Subke went 2 for 3 and stole 2 bases. Keltie Schoen hit 1 single, 1 double and 1 triple. Second Game: Win 15-0 Keltie Schoen drove in 5 runs on four hits. She also hit a home run over the fence to center field scoring 2 runs. We had 18 hits for this game. Canfield, Barth, Ormond, Johansson and Pierce each collect multiple hits. We did not commit a single error this game.
