Neillsville/Granton Softball Recap:  Battles with Columbus Catholic and Amherst

Monday 4/14
We traveled to Marshfield for a conference matchup against Columbus Catholic. We ended up losing 10-17. We had nine hits- Klarissa Canfield singles, scoring 1 run, Keltie Schoen drew a walk, scoring 1 run and Sydney Subke tripled scoring three runs. Riley Hemp had 3 hits. Keltie Schoen drew 3 walks and stole 2 bases.
Tuesday 4/15
We played Amherst in Neillsville. It was a really close game, but we did end up with the loss in the end 6-7. Klarissa Canfield pitched 7 innings striking out 6 and walking 5. She gave up 9 hits and seven runs (3 earned). Sydney Subke had 2 triples, Katie Rose and Mckendy Barth both doubled. Katie Rose had 2 RBI, Klarissa Canfield and Sydney Subke each had 2 hits.
