Neillsville Police Issue 49 Citations for Underage Consumption at House Party

(OnFocus) The Neillsville Police Department detained 75 individuals and issued 49 citations for underage consumption at a house party over the weekend.

On Feb. 2 at 12:11 a.m., two Neillsville police officers on patrol noticed suspicious activity in the parking lot of a closed business, according to a release. While investigating, officers made contact with two adult white males and learned of a house party in the 2200 block of Black River Road.

With assistance from the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, the police officers arrived at 2204 Black River Road and attempted to contact the home’s occupants. One male subject from Marshfield who was exiting was questioned. He was taken into custody and charged with obstructing an officer.

After obtaining a search warrant, police entered and detained the individuals inside.
