SPENCER – Neillsville wrapped up a second-place finish in the Cloverbelt Conference East Division with a 66-41 win over Spencer on Tuesday at Spencer High School.
The Warriors finish 13-3 in the Cloverbelt East and improve to 16-5 overall heading into a second-place Cloverbelt Conference crossover game at home on Saturday at 1 p.m. against Chippewa Falls McDonell.
Spencer is now 7-13 overall and finishes 6-10 and in sixth place in the Cloverbelt East. The Rockets will play a Cloverbelt crossover game Thursday against a team yet to be announced.
Alex King had 18 points and Monte Diestler had 13 points to lead the Warriors.
Spencer shot just 27 percent (14-for-52) in the loss. Trinity Larson had a team-high 11 points for the Rockets.
