Voting for the OnFocus Athlete of the Week, December 19 – December 25 saw two athletes battling it out for the top spot.
Andrew Brown of Neillsville Boys Basketball came away the winner, collecting 281 votes.
Finishing in second place was AnnaMarie Aue of Auburndale Girls Baskeball, with 193 votes.
OnFocus Athlete of the Week, December 19 – December 25
- Ondraj Napravnik, Mosinee Boys Hockey – Napravnik netted 5 goals as Mosinee crushed DeForest 10-2 in nonconference boys hockey.
- Emma Jossie, SPASH Girls Basketball (nominated online) – Jossie had 27 points and 10 rebounds as the SPASH girls outscored D.C. Everest 76-60 in WVC play.
- AnnaMarie Aue, Auburndale Girls Basketball – Aue was key in two wins for Auburndale. Aue had 13 points to lead the Eagles in their 47-43 win over Columbus. Aue added 14 points as Auburndale downed Assumption, 40-34.
- Andrew Brown, Neillsville Boys Basketball(nominated online) – Brown had 20 points for the Warriors in their 58-46 win over Arcadia.
- Connor Gowey, Medford Boys Hockey – Gowey had a hat trick as Medford defeated the Blizzard, 4-1.
