Weiler and Wolf founded Reliable Oil in response to a changing landscape in the local fuel delivery industry.

“We saw a need in the area, with a few of the other local fuel delivery businesses retiring and selling to bigger corporations,” said Weiler. This changing environment prompted them to step up and create a business that embodies their core values.

Reliable Oil commenced operations on October 1st. The company’s connection with Weiler’s, a well-established locally-owned company, goes beyond a mere coincidence of the founders’ names. Wayne and Kelly of Weiler’s took Laura and Jordan under their wing, providing invaluable guidance and support. The fuel will come out of the same bulk plant location, but each company will manage separate deliveries and maintenance. This collaborative approach means Reliable Oil benefits from the expertise of a seasoned local business while bringing a fresh perspective and commitment to the community.

We are local and love our community. We offer a lot of different products for everyone’s needs – we can order in almost anything,” Laura emphasized.

Weiler and Wolf may be new to the business, but it’s a part of their heritage. Laura’s childhood memories include riding in oil trucks with her father, serving farmers, the railroad, and local businesses. Jordan, with a farming background, understands the critical need for fuel in the agricultural community. While Weiler and Wolf considered the possibility of taking over another business initially, plans changed, and they decided to create Reliable Oil, maintaining their vision for community-focused, local fuel delivery.
