New GI Procedures Unit to Open at Aspirus Riverview Hospital

Everyone is Invited to Open House June 25

WISCONSIN RAPIDS, WI (OnFocus) – Patients having colonoscopies or upper endoscopies will soon be cared for in Aspirus Riverview Hospital’s brand new GI procedures unit.

Opening in early July, the unit features three spacious, state-of-the-art procedure rooms and nine private pre/post-procedure patient rooms.
“Patient care is our top priority,” said Brian Kief, president of Aspirus Riverview Hospital & Clinics. “Our new GI procedures unit emphasizes patient comfort and privacy, creating an enhanced patient experience.”

Everyone is invited to see the new GI procedures unit at an open house on Tuesday, June 25, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. A ribbon cutting will take place at 3 p.m., but guests are invited to drop in anytime. Those attending will have an opportunity to meet and visit with Aspirus Riverview’s GI procedures team, tour the new unit, learn about GI procedures, get the latest information on preventing and detecting colorectal cancer, enjoy light refreshments, and enter to win door prizes.
