MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – New Visions Gallery at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield will close effective March 1, 2024. The current exhibit will continue until March 1.
“A heartfelt thank you to our gallery visitors, volunteers and exhibitors. Your contributions to promoting the healing of art have made a difference for our patients and the communities we serve,” they said in a statement.
The roots of New Visions Gallery date back to 1964, when Marshfield Arts Committee formed to create an appreciation of visual arts in Marshfield. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held August 16, 1975 to officially open the gallery. Since then, the gallery has hosted many diverse exhibits.
