Newman and D.C. Everest Battle in 5 Set Thriller, Partner to Benefit The Neighbor’s Place

Newman and DC Everest played a cross-town match and restarted a fundraising event they last did jointly 4 years ago in support of The Neighbors Place.  Their goal was to raise over $1000 to support TNP with donations, admissions, concessions and raffle basket and silent auction prizes.

The volleyball game was very competitive and Newman fought hard all night going back and forth and ultimately coming up just just short losing to DC Everest in 5 sets.

Final scores for the match were 22-25, 25-23, 25-18, 23-25, 9-15.
