The Newman Catholic Cardinals won the Division 5 State Championship downing McDonell Central 66-54.
Conner Krach lead the Cardinals with 21 points, including 3 three pointers and 8 rebounds. Mason Prey added 18 points, Isaac Seidel added 15 points.
McDonell was led by Canan Huss with 28 points, Eddie Mittermeyer added 17.
Newman finishes the season 27-4.
