Nominations for the 2025 Unsung Hero Award are Now Open
NOVEMBER 15TH 2024: The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters are once again partnering with Skyward to announce nominations for the 2025 Unsung Hero Award are now open. The Unsung Hero Award celebrates a school district employee who has made an impact in the lives around them and deserves to be recognized for their contributions. The award is open to any K-12 Professional. When a winner is decided, Rosco will go to the school and surprise the winner, who will be recognized at a Rafters game. They will also receive a customized bobblehead, while fans will receive a Rosco bobblehead themed after the unsung heroes line of work. Nominations will be open until December 6th.

To Nominate someone for the Unsung Hero Award…

Send the name of the K-12 Employee, the school they work for, and a short essay (300 words or less, single-spaced, 12-pt font) about the positive impact the nominee has made on you. Then, you can send your nomination in an email to [email protected] or mail your nomination to us at:
