OnFocus – North Ridge Church in Marshfield is in the process of adding a new addition to their building on West McMillan.

“We are expanding our north campus building to ‘right-size’ the building to meet the growing needs of this community,” said Lead Pastor Preston Tippen.

The addition will include a 550-person auditorium and expanded atrium, with the new space facilitating additional small group meeting spaces and allowing for multiple groups to meet on campus simultaneously.

The church is also doubling their children and student spaces by converting the existing auditorium and classroom hall into useable areas. Also new are designated spaces for use by remote workers, students doing school from home, and community members.

“These spaces will include a fireside room, lounge/cafe, and conference room,” said Tippen. “Overall, we see a need to create comfortable spaces where people of all ages can gather and connect and the expansion of the north campus is going to meet this need.”

Local contractor Quality Roofing, Inc (QRI) is installing the 15,900 ft light grey fully-adhered TPO roof, along with edge metal, gutters, and downspouts. Over the course of two weeks, a team of 6-8 people worked on the main roof, with other small portions including an entrance vestibule still on the docket.

Though the project itself is pretty straightforward for the QRI team, they are always excited to work on a local building.

“It’s nice because we can keep the guys local,” said Lucas Kramer, Project Manager. “It’s nice also to have the local recognition.”
