Northland Pines Eagles Boys Golf Season Preview

  • Key returners this season:
Seniors, Luke Hissom, Logan Kramsvogel, and Gabe Smith along with sophomores Anderson Kielty and Anthony Gaetano are expected to lead our varsity.
  • Strengths of your team:
With three senior leaders along with some up and coming sophomores, Pines is looking forward to the spring golf season. Our JV and Varsity has our best numbers with 17 golfers going out this year.
  • Conference outlook:
Northland Pines hopes to challenge last year’s conference leaders this year. Our conference is typically led by Lakeland. We hope to improve from our 6th place finish last season and challenge the many great golfers at Antigo, Medford, Mosinee, Rhinelander, and Tomahawk.
  • Coaching staff:
Varsity Coach, Paul Logan, enters his 3rd season along with Junior Varsity Coach Jeff Libby. We look forward to improving in conference this year at the varsity level. We also look forward to improving our JV golfers with some new freshmen and sophomores that are going out for golf this season.
