Antigo 0 Pines 10

Missing our senior captain and leading scorer we were a bit concerned how the girls would respond to positional moves but they cam out firing on all cylinders when Grace Plank passed to Ava Gaetano putting a left footed shot in the back of the net.  One minute later Ava took a pass from Mallory Schmidt for her second goal.   Mallory took a pass from Defender Junior Aleena Ryan and race past Antigos left back and after three missed opportunities Mallory found the back of the net.  Ryyn Darr connect with fellow midfielder Grace Plank who ripped it in the back of the net.  Senior Olivia Eliason  took a through ball from freshman Addison Parz. Pines 5-0 15 minutes into the game. At that point we wanted to work on different things for our tough Saturdays regional games but needed to make some moves and get girls some needed playing time.  Freshman Ryley Darr took a ball across her back foot one touching a pass to streaking senior Sarah Nagel.  Freshman to Freshman Kaydence Brost  to Addison Paez.  Mallory Schmidt to a pass from Aleena Ryan both notching their second point of the night.  Half ended 8-0.  All girls were playing and 4 minutes into the second half Sophomore Kylie Lester tapped the ball to Senior Emma Weber who cut right to left and moved the keeper as she notched off her left foot.  Finally I’m the 59:55 minute sophomore Sydney Sarkaukas played a beautiful far post cross over the keeper to a crashing Brost but the cross curled in giving Sarkaukas the 10 goals and the end of the game.
