Northland Pines Shuts Down Mosinee
Report shared by Northland Pines Head Coach Rodney Sternhagen
Away games are always a challenge to get the team ready to play.  It seems the bus ride takes their legs.  Mosinee came out flying and we would possess and then they would overload one side making overlap runs and it took a while to get our legs under us but just shy of the twentieth mark Guilherme Amirez Fonseca took the ball wide and beat four Mosinee defenders for the lead. Late in the half Guilherme found Cody Vojta on a give and go and shot the ball low corner. The half was a 2-0 game. Again Mosinee came out hard but the boys stayed poised and the 69 minute Cody found himself behind the defenders streaming towards goal whena defender talked him in the box.  A yellow card and then the Pk goal by Vojta 3-0 Pines. 3 minutes later after three other breakaway attempts foiled by the keeper Jackson Olejniczak played an angled ball to Cody  who solved the puzzle and deked the keeper for a tap in goal Pines 4-0
