Location Will Offer Fast-Casual Experience

Getting a delicious Nutz Deep II burger is now going to be easier than ever, thanks to the addition of “Nutz Deep Express” on Marshfield’s south side. Located in the former Lammar’s Smokehouse location next to Baltus Bread & Butter Shop at 1502 S. Central Avenue, the addition will feature a “fast casual” dining experience.

Instead of a sit-down meal with waitstaff, food and drink orders will be purchased at the counter and served in to-go containers. Diners have the option to eat on-site, or take their food and eat elsewhere.

Nutz Deep II owners Lisa and Dewey Schutz had considered expanding their popular restaurant and the opportunity arose to partner with Baltus, explained Ann Dieringer, Marketing Coordinator.

The menu will include Nutz Deep’s signature burgers, fish fry, Piccadilly pizza (fresh dough pizza), Bill’s fresh-squeezed lemonade, and Central Waters beer in Crowlers (a 32 oz. can filled with the chosen beer that can be taken to-go). The cans can be customized with labels for special occasions.

All of Nutz Deep II’s catering will take place through that location along with pick-up fish frys. “If you don’t want to come here and eat, you can go there and pick it up,” said Dieringer.

Nutz Deep II Express is set to open in late August or early September. Meanwhile, for the full restaurant/bar experience, visit Nutz Deep II at 809 S. Central Ave in Marshfield.

Voted “Best of Marshfield” in many categories throughout the years (including Best Burger, Best Cheese Curds, Best Nightlife, Best Casual Dining, Best Fish Fry and Best Bartender. and Best Server), Nutz Deep II in Marshfield is a popular place for residents and visitors alike.

Established in 1982 as a tavern that served various types of tap and bottled beer as well as mixed drinks, Nutz Deep II has evolved into a full service bar & grill, featuring an expansive menu and twenty domestic and specialty beer on tap.
