Agnes was born on December 18, 1933 in Marshfield to Edward G. and Mary (Ertl) Schneider. She graduated from Marshfield High School and married the love of her life, Clarence Stini on October 8, 1952 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Hewitt. They were married 69 years. He passed away on January 20, 2022.

Agnes worked many years at North Parkway Grocery Store and at Figi’s. She enjoyed being with people. She was also a member of St. John’s PCCW. A highlight of her life was a trip she and Clarence took to Nashville and a family trip to visit Al and Carol Michalik in Missouri. Agnes was a great cook, keeping the cookie jar always at the ready for her husband and any visitors. She was especially called upon at the holidays to make “her gravy” and pies.

She enjoyed going for walks, tending her flowers, and spending time with the grandchildren and great grandchildren – always sending home a special treat when the visit was over. She will be dearly missed by all who loved and were blessed to know her.

She is survived by her daughter, Jan (Cliff) Michalik of Marshfield. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Heidi (Adam) Forst, Melissa (Jeremy) Erickson and Lucas (McKenna) Michalik, and five great grandchildren, Abigail and Elizabeth Forst, Ava and Ella Erickson, and Blaire Michalik. She is further survived by her brother, Art Schneider, and sisters, Celia Wolf and Anna Lapinski.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Sharon, brothers, Aloys, Peter, Edmund, Joseph, Norbert, Leo, and Bernard Schneider, and sister, Mary Burkhardt.

The family would like to thank the 5th floor staff and 4th floor palliative care who cared for her at Marshfield Medical Center, as well as Father Dan Thelen, and all our friends and family who supported her and us in prayer in the last days of her life.
