Alan J Zaleski, 69 passed away at home Feb 28, 2023.
A celebration of his life will be on Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 1-4 pm with a
prayer service at 2 pm at the Sauter/Rembs Funeral Home in Stratford WI. A burial
will be at a later date at St Adalbert’s Cemetery in Stratford.
Alan was born on Feb 14, 1954 to Ben & Evelyn Zaleski Sr of Stratford. He was a
Graduate of Stratford High School and continued farming with the family for many
years in his younger days up until he met & married the love of his life. They were
united in marriage on Dec 21, 1973. Alan drove truck for most of his life up until
he retired in 2014.
Alan didn’t have a lot of hobbies but the couple he did have, he sure did enjoy.
Spending time with family & friends, buying and fixing up old tractors, cutting up
wood to burn, and drinking a good ole Hamms beer.
Alan is survived by his son and daughter, Craig Alan Zaleski of Cheney, WA and
Tracey Ann (Scott) Schneider of Unity, WI; along with 6 grandchildren Killian
Zaleski of TN, Allyssa (Jacob) Burke of AL, Colby Zaleski of AL, Daziel Rodriquez of
WA, Matthew (Brandi) Schneider stationed at Fort Leonard Wood, MO, and
Mariah Schneider of Unity. He is also survived by 2 great grandchildren Blake
Foraker and Riley Schneider; his siblings: Christine (Dennis) Bredemann of
Stratford, Kenneth (Char) Zaleski of Marshfield, Cheryl Kattre (fiancé Brent) of
Spencer & Ben Zaleski Jr. of Stratford
He was preceded in death by the love of his life Susan, both parents, a brother
Daniel (Nancy) Zaleski of FL, a sister Nancy Zaleski of Stratford, and a
granddaughter Misty Rose Schneider of Unity, mother and father-in-law Victor &
Arlene Buzinski of Wausau.
