Albin F. “Al” Brandt, Jr. age 64, Pittsville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 10, 2024, at Arborview Court, Wisconsin Rapids, following a brief illness.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at Buchanan / Rembs Funeral Home, Pittsville, where a gathering for family and friends will be from 12:00 pm until service time. Rev. Gary Markworth will officiate. Burial will be in Mound Cemetery, Pittsville.
Albin was born on July 2, 1960, in Marshfield, to Albin F. and Joyce (Stillman) Brandt, Sr. and was a 1978 graduate of Pittsville High School. After his education, he was employed at Nekoosa Papers which later became Domtar, after 42 years, retiring as a machine tender in 2020.
Al enjoyed the farm, beef cattle, baling hay, collecting John Deere tractors, and hunting. He owned several collector cars and liked his Harley Davidson motorcycles.
He is survived by sisters, Susan Wolf, Dixie (Jeff) Jacobson, all of Pittsville, Kaye (Steve) Hamm of Wisconsin Rapids, and Lori (Scott) Nennig of Marshfield. He is further survived by nephews and nieces and their children, Scott Wolf; Amie (Jason) Gordon and their children, Haley and Hayden; Melissa (Phil) Julga and Kamden; Janalee (Matt) Darr and their daughter, Brooke (Riley) Wayerski and their son Rhett; Jayden Darr (Ben); Dalton Darr; a Godson, Joseph (Crystal) Jacobson and their children, Talon, Kaylee, and Logan; Julie (James) Brandenburg; Aubrey Mervyn; Roger Brandenburg; and Jon Brandenburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, David Wolf.
