Barbara Donna Goch, 93, Marshfield, died on Thursday, July 4, 2019 at Country Terrace Assisted Living, Stratford.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday July 9, 2019 at St. John’s Catholic Church, Marshfield, where the visitation will be from 9:30 am until service time. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery and grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Barbara was born on December 1, 1925 in Poland, the daughter of Nikodem and Zofila (Grabcrczyk) Orzynski. She was united in marriage to Adam R. Goch on July 27, 1946 in Germany. He died on January 7, 1994.
Barb had been employed at Weinbrenner Shoes in Marshfield for 23 years. She also worked at St. Joseph’s Hospital for 14 years and at Holiday Inn for 3 years, both in Marshfield.
She is survived by her children, Helen Hamm of Spencer, Rita Knauf of Eau Claire, Lori (George) Kubatzki, and Edward (Karen) Goch, all of Marshfield. She is also survived by grandchildren Robert (Denise) Hamm, Patrick (Tara Mundlock – fiancé) Hamm, Christine (Scott) Jakobi, Jeremy Hamm, Tammy (Mike) Beil, Eddie Hamm, Emily Knauf, Adam Knauf, Ryan Goch and Ashley (Derik Fries – fiancé) Goch and great grandchildren, Brock and Laynie Hamm, Shane and Jacob Hamm, Jessica Schafer, Aryn Sternweis, Kyle and Samantha Jakobi, Michael and Jordan Beil, Katrina, Maximus and Roman Goch and Bowie Fries.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, a son-in-law, Robert Hamm, 3 brothers and 4 sisters.
