Cheryl L. (Rohde) Ort passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday morning, October 20, 2024.
Born on September 8, 1960, Cheryl was known for her artistic spirit and creativity, which she shared with those around her. She loved expressing herself through writing poems and drawing, and she cherished the time spent at the ceramic studio with her grandson and niece. Cheryl’s love for giraffes and African themes reflected her vibrant personality and zest for life.
She is preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Deana; her devoted husband, Mark; her father, Mike Rohde; her brother, Mike Rohde Jr.; her two sisters, Carrie Rohde and Tracy Kartsonas; as well as her niece Amanda and nephew Jimmy. Their memories remain forever cherished by those who loved them.
Cheryl’s memory lives on through her two sons, Allen Carson and Shawn Navarro, and her treasured grandchildren, Kaydance and Andrew. She is also survived by her mother, Marie Hughes; her brother, Ronald Kimpel; and her five sisters: Terry Pflueger, Cathy Marzini (Rohde), Dawn Riemer, Sheila Kartsonas, and Nicole Grosbier. Cheryl’s legacy extends to numerous nieces, nephews, and other loved ones who will continue to honor her memory.
A celebration of Cheryl’s life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to share stories and remember the joy she brought to so many.
