Dawn M. Hagen, age 58, Pulaski, and formerly of Marshfield, passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center, Milwaukee, after a lengthy illness.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Sunday, August 20, 2023, at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield, where a gathering for family and friends will be from 9:00 am until service time.
Dawn was born on October 5, 1964, in Marshfield, to Martin and Ila (Taylor) Michalak and was a 1982 graduate of Marshfield Senior High School. She also attended Rasmussen College in Green Bay where she earned a bachelor’s degree in 2013.
She married John Kochanowski in 1986 and to this union, her children, Lauren and Travis were born. They divorced, and in 2004 she married Michael Hagen and the following year, their son, Tyler, was born.
Dawn loved gardening, cooking, knitting, crafts, sewing, designing flower arrangements, hosting large family gatherings, and just filling her home with friends. She loved her family and friends most of all.
She is survived by her husband, Michael, and children, Lauren (Stephen) Reaves, Travis (Dyan) Kochanowski, and Tyler Hagen. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Bailey, Caydence, Kyuss, Ellie, Dallas, Harley, and August.
She is further survived by a sister, Karla (Kevin) Kapfhamer, a brother, Scott (Tara) Michalak, a stepbrother, C.J. Lamsargis, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her stepfather, Charles “Chic” Lamsargis, Jr.
