Pete was born on February 27, 1949 in Marshfield, to Carl and Laurina (Junemann) Brandl. He attended Stevens Point area schools and graduated from PJ Jacobs High School in 1967. He took over CL Brandl Well Drilling when his dad retired. He worked various other jobs until his most recent at Afterall Inc. for Kurt, his boss, who treated him like family. Pete was an outdoors guy. He liked fishing, hunting, and especially maple syrup season. He enjoyed sharing the fruits of his labor with family and friends. Maple syrup and pickled eggs were a couple of his specialties. He loved his family connections and stayed in touch with extended family even across the miles. Pete made friends wherever he went.
Pete never married or had children of his own, but he cherished the relationships he had with his nieces, nephews and their children. He had a special relationship with his niece Carri Ann. He loved her like she was his own daughter.
