Donald E. Bubolz, 74, Vesper, passed away on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at Aspirus Riverview Hospital, Wisconsin Rapids.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Buchanan/Rembs Funeral Home, Pittsville, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00 am until service time. Rev. Ryan Anderson will officiate. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Vesper, at a later date.
Donald was born on February 10, 1947 in Vesper, Wisconsin, to Norman and Lucille (Horn) Bubolz.
Don had been employed as manager of a Redi-Mix plant in Wisconsin Rapids and then was a salesman for concrete additives. He then worked for Superior-Onyx in Wisconsin Rapids until his retirement.
He enjoyed the outdoors and hunting and fishing his entire life. He was a longtime member of the Vesper Lions Club and was a volunteer fireman in Vesper for many years.
He is survived by his two sons, Edwin Bubolz of Vesper and Bradley Bubolz of Omro. He is also survived by three brothers, David (Rose) Bubolz, Norman “Sonny” (Elaine) Bubolz, Jr. and Orville (Linda) Bubolz and a sister, Anna Mae Binger.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Lois and Luanne.
