Donna Wiese, 73, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at her home.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, March 18 at Sauter/Rembs Funeral Home in Stratford from 4pm-7pm. As Donna would have wanted, jeans are welcome and encouraged. There will be a private burial at a later date.
Donna was born on May 22, 1951 to J. Laverne and Alma (VanDerLeest) Schoenfuss. She lived a happy life raising three children while doing the things she loved. Donna was proud of her time driving semi at Automated Products, and most recently, enjoyed her work at Decorative Industries.
Christmas was a time of year that truly brought Donna joy. She poured her creativity into decorating her home with festive cheer and crafting personalized ornaments for each of her children and grandchildren. When not immersed in the holiday spirit, she could be found crafting, painting, planting flowers, making her famous grilled chicken, or shopping with her grandkids, sisters, and sisters-in-law. Donna was always ready for an impromptu trip out to eat where she always ran into someone she knew. Her loving heart and spontaneous spirit will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Donna will be deeply missed by her children and their spouses: Lynn; Mike Schmidt, Randy; Andrea Wiese, and Calli; Jake Stueber along with her adored grandchildren: Megan Wiese, Maggie Schmidt, Derek Wiese, Abby Schmidt, Henry Stueber, and Laura Stueber. She is also survived by her siblings and their spouses; Eunice; Gary Potts, Eugene; Sandy Schoenfuss, twin sister Diane; Jerry Keding, Nancy; Larry Wiesman, Richard (Butch); Carol Schoenfuss, Annette; Mark Specht along with many beloved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents J. Laverne and Alma Schoenfuss.
