DuWayne D. Lobner, age 84, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2024, at Sylvan Crossings at Westshire Assisted Living in Waunakee, Wisconsin.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, December 13, 2024, at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield, where a gathering for family and friends will be from 12:00 pm until service time. Burial will be in St. John’s Lutheran Church Cemetery, Spencer, Wisconsin, where military rites will be conducted.
DuWayne was born on March 26, 1940, in Marshfield, to Harold and Betty Lou (Windorf) Lobner. After his education he entered the United States Marine Corps serving until his honorable discharge. He married Darlene A. Bach on February 5, 1963, in Wisconsin Rapids. She died on September 5, 2015.
DuWayne was employed as a machinist at Beloit Corporation in Beloit, Wisconsin for 35 years until his retirement.
He enjoyed the outdoors and camping. Also traveling, and many family trips out west and to Florida.
He is survived by his daughters, Deborah (Larry) Raley of Evansville, Diane Lobner (Stephen Conlin) of Sun Prairie, and Michelle (Thomas) Kugel of Rockton, IL. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Casie, Kari and Asia, and four great grandchildren, Alana, Aiden, Dianna, and Jaxson. He is further survived by a sister, Jalayne McFarland of Marshfield, and a stepsister, Bea Kohl of Wisconsin Rapids.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a granddaughter, Kammey and a sister, Colleen Carden.
