Everett L. Donnerbauer, 68, Marshfield, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2023 in his home surrounded by his family after a well fought battle with cancer.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, April 14, 2023 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Bakerville with Rev. Barry Saylor and Deacon Ray Draeger officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery and serving as pallbearers will be Lori Zahradka, Luke Schlagenhaft, Brandon Prust, Josh Schueller, Justin Schueller, and Matthew Schueller.
Visitation will take place from 5:00 – 8:00 pm on Thursday, April 13 at Rembs Funeral Home in Marshfield and from 10:00 am until service time at church on Friday. A rosary will take place at 7:45 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
Everett was born on November 3rd, 1954 in Marshfield to Isadore and Margaret Donnerbauer. He was a 1972 graduate of Marshfield Senior High School. He and Linda Schueller were united in marriage on June 11th,1977 at Corpus Christi in Bakerville.
Everett was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He adored his family and enjoyed so many special times with them. He worked hard to make sure they were taken care of and felt loved every day. Everett was an avid fisherman, who caught many trophy fish. He was always known for his beautiful flowers and looked forward to planting and caring for them every year. Everett had a love for music, reading, taking care of the birds, enjoyed walking, and time in the sun. He was a kind and loving man, whose sense of humor will always be remembered. His faith was important to him and he shared this with his family. His love for God brought comfort to him and his family.
Everett is survived by his wife Linda, children Terra (Chris Keding), Jordan (Stephanie), Jenna (Matt Belter), and grandchildren Mary, Isabelle, Ava, Rosie, and Aspen. He is further served by his siblings Gene (Georgene), Delores (Gary Krehmeyer), brother-in-law, Paul Schlagenhaft, and Peter (Linda).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Isadore and Margaret Donnerbauer, his sister, Rosie Schlagenhaft, father and mother-in-law, John and Gertrude Schueller, and brother-in-law, Larry Schueller.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to everyone who has assisted throughout his battle with cancer. Additionally, the family would like to thank Compassus for their assistance in his final days.
Everett will be dearly missed and forever remembered by his wife and children. We were so blessed to have him in our lives. The sadness that has been felt will be replaced by the wonderful memories we will hold onto.
