George “Lee” Forman entered eternal life on August 19, 2024, lovingly surrounded by family. He had a deep and abiding faith in Jesus Christ.

He was born on May 11, 1942, to Loren V. Forman and Miriam Richardson Forman in Kingsport, Tennessee.

His family later relocated several times, going to Appleton, Wisconsin; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and Everett, Washington.

Having heard his nation’s call, he enlisted with the Air Force. It was while he was stationed in San Angelo, Texas, that he met and married Pat, in 1965. He was also stationed in Japan and Alaska before he was honorably discharged.

In 1970, he attained a degree in Business Administration from Widener University.

From 1971 to 1990, he was employed by Weyerhauser. He and Pat moved to Oklahoma, Mississippi, North Carolina and Pennsylvania before finally settling in Marshfield, Wisconsin.

After following opportunities elsewhere in 1990, he returned to Marshfield in 1993.

Up until very recently, he was active in his church as well as a multitude of community organizations, including the Gideons, SCORE, and the Boy Scouts of America.

He was also active in the Republican Party.

His greatest interest, pride, and joy, besides his wife, Pat, was his 7 children.

He is survived by his wife, Pat; and his children: Marcy (Andrew Zimmerman), Becky (Al Judd), Bart (Tabitha), Solomon, Cheri, Carlos and James (Heather); and 10 grandchildren: Taylor, Campbelle, Max, Sienna, Lanai, Nadthea, William, Sage, Logan and Jarod.

He was preceded by his parents, Loren and Miriam; and a beloved grandson, Jeremiah (JD) Dunn.

Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at the Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home in Marshfield. Pastor Casey Schifelbine will officiate. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service.
