Jason Harold-Thomas Sutton, 43, died at Marshfield Medical Center on Wednesday, January 19, 2022.
Jason was born on May 29, 1978 to Thomas Sutton and Judy (Sutton) Karl. He graduated from Stratford High School in 1997. A short while later he was united in marriage to Laurie Harwood and later divorced. Together they had five beautiful children who were his pride and joy.
Jason was a loving father. He was a devoted son and brother. He was a faithful and generous friend and was ready to help anyone in need. He loved to share his gift of cooking and hospitality and found great joy in feeding people and hosting family and friends for special occasions. A summer or early fall evening would find him sitting around the campfire sharing memories with those he loved and listening to his favorite music. He enjoyed a good game of Yahtzee or cards. Jason had a heart of gold and loved people. He also loved animals and saw God’s beauty in all of creation. His Chinese Shar-Pei, his “Baby Blue”, had a very special place in his heart and brought him comfort in his moments of need. Jason gave witness to perseverance despite many difficulties in his earthly life. Jason will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
Jason is survived by his children Mataya, Aurora, Chayton, and Evangelia. He is further survived by his mother Judy (Raymond Jr.) Karl and siblings Stacy (Kit) Lavongsa, Sherri (Ebenezer) Twumasi, Travis Sutton, Skylar Karl, along with his nieces and nephews who will miss their “Uncle J.”, Cy, Tyalin, Ty, and Cam Lavongsa; and Kiara, Kimora, and Christian Twumasi. He was predeceased by his father Thomas Sutton and daughter Tirza Sutton.
Funeral services will be announced at a later date.
