Jeanette M. Suda, age 84, a longtime resident of Greenwood, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2020.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11AM on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greenwood with Rev. Leo Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Greenwood.
Jeanette was born on March 1, 1935, daughter of Art and Erna Wehrman. She attended Loyal High School graduating in 1953. After graduating, she went to Milwaukee and worked at the Boston Store. She was united in marriage to Charles J. Suda on May 4, 1957 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greenwood after Charles returned from the service in 1956. Sadly, Charles recently passed away on December 28, 2019. Together they farmed in the Town of Warner for many years before retiring.
She enjoyed many fishing trips with Charles as well as going along with him trapping. She loved summer and all types of birds and always made sure that they were fed. Jeanette loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed traveling; mostly she was fond of her Germany trip with Charles and her gambling adventures.
Jeanette is survived by her children: Rick (Dawn) Suda of Greenwood, Dennis (Patti) Suda of Spencer, Dean (Debi) Suda of Ham Lake, MN, Eliot (Judi) Suda of Greenwood and Janel (Jim) Kirn of Greenwood; 16 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
She is further survived by her brother Art (Mona) Wehrman of Madison and her sister Barbara Noeldner of Greenwood as well as many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles and her parents.
