Jeanne J. David, 92, Marshfield, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at Marshfield Medical Center.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Marshfield where the family will receive relatives and friends from 9:30 am until service time. Rev. Douglas Robertson will officiate. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Marshfield. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Jeanne was born on February 15, 1931, in Sedalia, Missouri to Kenneth and Genevieve (Koch) Graff. She graduated from Marshfield Senior High School in 1949. She worked for the Marshfield Telephone Company and the insurance department at Marshfield Clinic until her retirement on February 15, 1993.
She married Willis W. David, Sr. on October 7, 1950, at St. John’s Catholic Church. He passed away on November 21, 2021.
Jeanne enjoyed camping, traveling, cross-stitching, and collecting ceramic birds. Most of all, she loved being with her family and spending time with her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids.
She is survived by her children, Sandra (Neil) Ostby of MT, Shari (Marvin) Bell, of WI, Mary (Robert) Formell of MI, Kenneth (Dawn) David of WI, Alan David of WI, Willis (Teri) David, Jr. of MT, Barbara Nikolai of WI, Jane Winninghoff of MT, Glen David of WI and Ruth (Mitch) LeGrand of WI. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and grandson, Patrick Scott LeGrand.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Jeanne’s neighbor, Judy Sternitzky, daughter, Ruthie, and son, Alan for the wonderful care.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to a charity of the donor’s choice.
