Judy was born December 7, 1961 in Stevens Point to James and Carole (Hall) Brandl. She is a 1980 graduate of Auburndale High School. Judy was united in marriage March 9, 1991 to the late Tim A. Bendickson at St. Michael Catholic Church in Hewitt , the love of her life, who preceded her in death July 2, 2010. She initially worked as a rural carrier for the newspaper, and went on to get her CNA license and found employment at Bethel Nursing home and St. Joseph’s Hospital. Most recently she has been working at Fleet Farm and Taco Bell.

Judy was a fun-loving person who could hold a conversation with just about anyone anywhere she went. Judy loved many things, but most importantly she loved her family, late husband Tim, and cruising around with her loyal companion Patches. A music lover, she enjoyed sharing songs on her facebook page. She always kept a smile on her face even when times were tough. Because of this, she made a positive impact on everyone she met, especially family and friends.

Known as “Jodo” to her nieces and nephews, she loved having game nights with the kids at Sarah & Johnnee’s house. She taught them many life lessons and new words during these nights. Judy loved fishing and hunting, something she enjoyed with her husband Tim… she would continue to share in fishing adventures with her nieces and nephews. Finally, Judy loved her fur babies: Buddy and Patches. Those dogs were her world, and she is reunited in heaven with them.

Judy is survived by her siblings: James (Gina) Brandl Jr. of Arpin, Joy (Mark) Korger of Marshfield, Jackie (Dennis) Crist of Arpin, Candy Brandl (Dennis Duerr) of Marshfield, and the late Johnnee (Sarah Olson surviving) Brandl of Auburndale.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Tim, and her brother Johnnee.

Judy had a strong love for God and she loved those around her. For this, she was known to light candles in church regularly.
