Kathleen Joyce Allen at the age of 77, Marshfield, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, September 22, 2022 under the loving care of the staff at Wells Nature View Assisted in Marshfield, WI.
As per Kathy’s wish, no service is planned. The ashes of Kathy and husband, Dick will be buried at a later date. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Kathy or Kate was born on September 3, 1945 in Wisconsin Rapids to Alfonse Frank Huber and Harriet Marie (Dupee) Huber. Kathy grew up in Pittsville and was a 1963 graduate of Pittsville High School.
Kathy was married first to Siegfried Carl Paul Heise on March 24,1965 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Sig passed away after 20 years of marriage on April 6, 1983 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Kathy married 2nd, Richard G. “Dick” Allen on September 29, 1990 in Waupaca County, Wisconsin. Kathy and Dick lived in Wisconsin Rapids for 27 years before moving to Marshfield in 2017. Dick passed away August 20, 2020 in Marshfield, Wisconsin.
Kathy and Dick enjoyed taking trips in their camper so they could include their fur babies – their dogs and cats that were like children to them. Kathy had many special pets over the years: Sheba, Sweetie, Fluffy, Sooty, Boots, Cuddles and Peanut. Kathy and Dick also enjoyed working together on woodworking and other craft items that they sold at craft shows around Wisconsin with Kathy’s sister, Yvonne.
Kathy is survived by sister, Yvonne M. Jorgensen (Evan Smith) and brother, Roger P. Huber both of Wisconsin Rapids, WI. She is also survived by step-children: Richard J. Allen (Leslie Gabriel), Denver, CO; Susan (Kenneth) Owens, Mt. Horeb, WI and Tammy Allen, McFarland, WI. Step-grandchildren: Hans Walor, CA; Taylor (Ed) Meletyan, Aurora, CO; Curtis Owens, Davis, CA; Jessica Owens, Mt. Horeb, WI; Sister-in-laws: Judith A. Huber, Wisconsin Rapids; Judith L Huber, Arpin, WI along with many nieces and nephews.
Kathy was preceded in death by husbands: Siegfried Heise and Richard G. Allen; parents: Alfonse and Harriet Huber; brothers: Peter J. Huber and Donald D. Huber; Brother-in-law, Gehr Jorgensen and Sister-in-law: Rosemary Huber.
