Kathleen “Kathy” M. Sharpe, 74, Marshfield, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at House of the Dove in Marshfield.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Kathleen was born on August 30, 1949 in Wausau to Jacob Earl and Florence M. (Lang) Kurtzweil. She was a 1967 graduate of Stratford High School. Kathy married Charlie Sharpe in 1978 and they later divorced.
She worked at Northern Auto after high school and then at PCA/United FCS for 37 years, until retiring in 2013. She also volunteered many hours at the Marshfield Area Pet Shelter, at the Library helping adults learn basic computer skills, and visiting with and driving older adults wherever they wanted to go.
Kathy is survived by her sister, Karen (Bill) Downey of Stratford; four brothers, Dan (Roxane) Kurtzweil of Stratford, John (Betsy) Kurtzweil of Edgar, Roger (Sandy) Kurtzweil of Stratford, and Kevin (Cheryl) Kurtzweil of Stratford, and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her fur baby, Abbey.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Kenneth Kurtzweil.
