Linda J. Schonfeldt, 68, passed away Monday, September 12th, 2022 at home surrounded by her beloved animals, daughter and granddaughter.
Linda was born on March 31, 1954 in Marshfield, WI to Arthur and Rita (Herman) Schonfeldt. She graduated from Marshfield Senior High School in 1972.
Lindas life revolved around a phenomenal horse training career. She is an icon in the horse world. Linda was active and very successful in several horse organizations and influenced many stables, students and families across the country. She also enjoyed mowing lawn, landscaping, driving her tractor and helping others shop for horses. Linda was known for her love of sunflowers, humor, mischief, good cooking and a crazy game of marbles with friends and family. Many will remember her by the rides in the old green truck hauling hay, stall cleaning therapy sessions, the “BM”, water fights, student camps, decorating the ranch for Christmas, long late lessons and horse show road adventures.

She is survived by her daughter, Tracy Schonfeldt of Marshfield and granddaughter, Aaliyah Borchert. She is further survived by her sisters, Judy (Norman) Katzenberger of Vesper, Sharon Thomas of Wittenberg, Patricia (Dennis) Conrad of Arpin, and brother, William Schonfeldt of Marshfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
