Lorraine L. Milazzo, 94, passed away with family at her side on Monday, August 5, 2019 at Marshfield Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, August 12, 2019 at Ebenezer United Church of Christ, Town of Cleveland, Marathon County, with Rev. Doris Ruben officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The visitation will be on Sunday from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Sauter/Rembs Funeral Home, Stratford and from 10:00 am until service time on Monday at Ebenezer Church.
Lorraine was born on October 16, 1924 in Milwaukee, to Herman and Olga (Hermanson) Lange. She was united in marriage to Sam P. Milazzo on January 20, 1945 at Zion Evangelical Reformed Church in Milwaukee. He died on March 3, 2005.
Her faith was most important to Lorraine as well as her family and she cherished the time with them. She loved babysitting for her grand and great grandchildren and she enjoyed baking and knitting.
She is survived by her children, Charles (Mary Jo) Milazzo, Sam Milazzo, Kathleen Peterson and Lori (Gary) Lang. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. She is further survived by a sister-in-law, Jean Lange.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son-in-law, Jan V. Peterson, her brother, Herman Lange Jr., her sister, Elinor Berg Mellenthin and her brother LeRoy Lange.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be designated to Ebenezer United Church of Christ or to Restoring Hope Transplant House, Middleton, WI
