Lucille G. Jensen, 86, Marshfield, passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Aster Assisted Living of Marshfield.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield with visitation from 9:00 am until the time of service. Deacon Ray Draeger will officiate. Burial will take place at Corpus Christi Cemetery, Bakerville at a later date.
Lucille was born on September 14, 1938 in Dorchester to George and Agnes (Weber) Wilke. She graduated from Marshfield Senior High. She was united in marriage to Gerald “Jerry” Jensen on October 4, 1958 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Bakerville.
Lucille worked on their dairy farm and then later as a caretaker at Wells Nature View.
She enjoyed flowers, yardwork, quilting, playing cards, and going to the casino.
She is survived by her daughters, Barb (Bob) Burr and Lisa Weiler, grandchildren, Dawn (Matt) Drossel, Kelly Miller, Shari (Steve) Scheibe, Matt (Kylie) Burr, Megan (Nathan) Yolitz, Jamie Anderson (Devin), Katelyn, Taylor, and Brad Weiler, and 7 great grandchildren. She is further survived by siblings, MaryAnn (Donald) Lindner, Charles Wilke, Edith (Dale) Palechek, and Dorothy (Marv) Raasch.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Karen Clark, son in law, Don Clark, brothers, Melvin (Florence) Wilke, Frank (Irene) Wilke, and John (Susie) Wilke, sister in law, Rita Wilke.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Jim, Kathi, Gerri, and all of mom’s friends at the Community Center and Aster for all their help they’ve given to mom.
