Marion A. (Spangler) Adler, age 90, of Marshfield, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at Marshfield Medical Center.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, March 14, 2022, at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Marshfield. Rev. Douglas Robertson will officiate. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Marshfield. A visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm on Sunday, March 13, 2022, at Rembs Funeral Home where a rosary service will be held at 4:00 pm.
Marion was born December 11, 1931. She was the daughter of Albert and Viola (Heileman) Spangler of Jefferson, Wisconsin. She graduated from Jefferson High school in 1949 and continued her education at UW-Whitewater where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Education. She married Terrence Adler on August 22, 1959, in Jefferson Wisconsin. Later she earned a Master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin. She taught Typing and Business Education at Watertown High School, Marshfield Senior High, Columbus High School, Granton High School, and Spencer High School. Many of her typing students still tell her how grateful they are that she taught them to type.
Marion dedicated her life to raising her children, taking care of her family and performing various community volunteer services. Marion and Terrence achieved the goal of traveling to all 50 states. She was known for teaching typing, financial skills and her driving lessons.
Marion is survived by her children, Terri Ann Adler of Marshfield, Lynn (Robert) Koresh of Junction City, Doug (Pauline) Adler of Marshfield, and Kay (Eugene) Schulz of Spring Green and grandchildren; Anna Koresh, Bob Koresh, Becca Schulz, Daniel Adler, Theresa Adler, and Heath Schulz; and a brother John Spangler of Lake Mills.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brothers Earl Spangler and David Spangler.
