Mary “Sharon” Kramer, 82, Marshfield, passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at her home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, August 26, 2024 at St. John’s Catholic Church, Marshfield with visitation from 10:00 am until the time of service. Rev. Dan Thelen will officiate. The service will be streamed online at www.facebook.com/rembsfuneralhomes. Burial will follow at Brooklawn Memory Garden Cemetery, Town of Richfield, Wood County. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Mary was born on August 18, 1942 to Orville and Beatrice (Baur) Hughes. She married Eugene “Gene” Kramer on January 28, 1961 at St. Joachim’s Catholic Church in Pittsville.
Mary helped her husband Gene open Gene’s Furniture. She had various jobs throughout her life including a Kitchen Chef and Social Services where she transported people to doctor appointments and friends’ houses. Mary enjoyed Bingo, visiting the casino with her grandson Brendan, and camping and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Gene, son, Larry (Laurie) Kramer, daughter, Corrine (Jeff) Potton, grandchildren, Brittany (Ben) Frudzinski, Brendan (Emily) Potton, Miranda (Robert) Mroczenski, and Cole Kramer, and great grandchildren, Walter, Eugene, Marvin, Layton, and Ayla. She is further survived by her siblings, Ellen Louer, Bob (Jeanne) Hughes, Don Hughes, Jeanne (Walter) Carter, and Jane Hughes.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Ann (Roger) Sook, brother in law, George Louer, and sister in law, Diane Hughes.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Clark County Humane Society in Neillsville.
