Mary Ann Lindner, 65, Marshfield, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at her home in the Town of McMillan.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield, where a gathering for family and friends will be from 11:00 am until service time. Rev. Daniel Thelen will officiate.
Mary was born on June 12, 1957 in Wausau, to Emmett and Janet (Kuyoth) Schilling and was a 1975 graduate of Edgar High School. She also was a 1979 graduate of St. Joseph’s School of Nursing.
She was united in marriage to Steven R. Lindner on August 2, 1980 in Edgar, Wisconsin.
In addition to raising her family, Mary worked as a registered nurse in Critical Care, 8 North, Dialysis, Surgical ICU and was a part of one of the first flight crews for the Spirit of Marshfield. She retired in 2011 due to her illness, Loeys-Dietz Syndrom which she fought so courageously. Mary fought through three major heart surgeries and two craniotomies.
Mary greatly enjoyed gardening, cooking and her family, as well as being a registered nurse which she worked for 35 years. Mary loved teaching her grandkids how to cook and bake. Her grandchildren learned how to garden from Mary especially how to grow large pumpkins. Mary also enjoyed multiple vacations to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico with her husband Steve and family and friends.
She is survived by her husband Steve, and their two sons, Christopher Lindner of Marshfield and Patrick (Shelley) Lindner of Eau Claire. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Kylie, Winry and Zavier Lindner. She is further survived by a sister Roxanne (Keith) Spindler of Stratford and a brother Scott (Kris) Schilling of Athens, her parents-in-law, Robert and Joyce Lindner and brothers-in-law, Greg Lindner and Brad (Judy) Lindner.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Kevin Schilling and a sister-in-law Peggy Lindner. She was loved dearly by all and will be greatly missed.
