Mary E. Swiech, 57, Marshfield, formerly of Pittsville and City Point, passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at House of the Dove in Marshfield.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Rembs Celebration Center, 250 S. Oak Ave, Marshfield. Burial will take place at City Point Catholic Cemetery in the Town of City Point, Jackson County on Sunday, May 15, 2022.
Mary was born on May 15, 1964 in Marshfield to Bernard and Patricia (Weinfurter) Swiech. She attended Pittsville and Tomah High School.
Mary was a mom, daughter, sister, and friend. She was a cook in the restaurant business for many years. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. Mary was known for being very independent and handy. She could change her own oil just as easy as she could whip up a meal. Mary always looked forward to visitors and loved showering them with food, especially desserts. She loved her animals and enjoyed feeding the squirrels and rabbits while she watched out the window. Mary was such a warm soul, always wanting happiness for others. Though she touched many lives, the one she was most proud of was her daughter, Cally. Mary’s hard battle with cancer showed her courage and strength in facing life challenges with optimism, positivity, and a beautiful smile. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Cancer Research Foundation or the Humane Society.
She is survived by her daughter, Cally Beltz of Memphis, TN, grandpup, Buckets, mother, Patricia Swiech of Marshfield, and brother, Roger Swiech of Granton.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bernard.
