Norma Rogney, 83, Auburndale, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at House of the Dove, Marshfield.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Auburndale, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 9:00 am until service time. Rev. Murali Anand Rayappan will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Norma was born on September 15, 1936 in Adams-Friendship, to William and Emma (Gerard) Holden and was a graduate of Adams-Friendship High School. She was united in marriage to Cletus M. Rogney on June 4, 1959 at St. John’s Catholic Church, Marshfield.

Norma had been employed in the Insurance Department at Marshfield Clinic for 24 years. She and Cletus enjoyed fishing on Lake Michigan for many years. She also enjoyed polka dancing and baking and was known as “Cookie Grandma”.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Cletus, and their 5 daughters, Nancy (Roger) Koplien of Sherry, Mary Rogney (Jed Moore) of Marshfield, Sharon (Gordie) Vruwink of Auburndale, Carol (Dan) Linzmeier of Sherry and Lori Rogney of Stratford. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, Keicha Seidl, Corey, Derek and Dylan Haasl, Cody Vruwink, Alexis Stranz, Zac and Zeke Linzmeier, and Gavin and Caylin Van Der Leest and 5 great granddaughters. She is further survived by a brother, John (Joyce) Holden of Pittsville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, John in infancy, 5 brothers and 4 sisters.
