Patricia J. Nowaczyk, 72, Hewitt, passed away on Friday, September 14, 2018 at House of the Dove, Marshfield.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 am on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Hewitt, where the visitation will be from 9:30 am until service time. Rev. Antony Arokiyam will officiate. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery and serving as pallbearers will be Jason Waltenberry, Gregory Nowaczyk, Josh Waltenberry, Jayme Nowaczyk, John Waltenberry and Glen Meidl. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Patricia was born on June 6, 1946 in Wausau, to Henry and Germaine (Fritz) Nowaczyk. She attended St. Joseph’s Parochial School in Hewitt and was a 1964 graduate of Marshfield Senior High School. After her education, she was employed at Figi’s and Prince Corporation and then at Marshfield Clinic until her retirement in 2012.
She enjoyed traveling in the United States, bowling, knitting, making decorated cakes and spending time with family. She was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Hewitt.
Patricia is survived by her siblings, Judy (John) Waltenberry of Wisconsin Rapids, Robert Nowaczyk of Hewitt, Mary Kebaso of Minneapolis and Barbara Nowaczyk of Hot Springs, AR and a sister-in-law, Andrea Nowaczyk of Phillips. She is also survived by a niece, Julie (Duane) Passineau of Nekoosa, and their daughter, Marissa; and nephews, Jason Waltenberry of Nekoosa and his children, Kendra and Bryce; Gregory (Jessica) Nowaczyk of Spencer and their children, Nash, Tylan Trevor (Alyssa) and their daughter, Lexi; Josh (Dana) Waltenberry of Waukesha and their children, Delia, J.R. and Jacob; and Jayme (Jessica) Nowaczyk of Marshfield and their children, Audra, Amara and Cayda.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister at birth, and brothers, James and Michael Nowaczyk.
Memorials may be designated in Patricia’s name to House of the Dove, Marshfield.
