Patrick James Kohlbeck, 58 of Marshfield, passed away on August 12, 2023, at Marshfield Medical Center surrounded by his loved ones.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2023, at 11 am at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. The visitation will be on Wednesday, August 16 from 4-7 pm and again on Thursday from 10 am until the time of service. Father Douglas Robertson will officiate. Patrick was born December 17, 1964, to Robert (Bob) Kohlbeck and Marlene (Molly) Kohlbeck. His life was characterized by dedication, strength, and a willingness to help family and friends whenever he could.
Patrick graduated from Marshfield High School in 1983. For 28 years, Patrick was an integral part of Felker Brothers Corp. where he was a proud member of Local 627, The International Brotherhood of Boilermakers, Iron Ship Builders, Blacksmiths, Forgers and Helpers. There he served as President, Union Steward and Safety Chairman for 10 years. His commitment to work reflected his strong work ethic and unwavering commitment to excellence. In addition to his industrious career, Patrick worked as a bartender in his family’s business, Molly’s Pitcher. He enjoyed the patrons, dart leagues, group trips and camaraderie.
Patrick was an avid race fan and could be found every Saturday night at Marshfield Motor Speedway on Bud Deck Turn 4. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, golfing with friends and family, and spending time with those in his neighborhood. Patrick’s skill as a handyman was unmatched. His willingness to lend a hand to anyone, coupled with his resourcefulness, left a lasting impression.
Remembered as a devoted brother, Patrick is survived by his sisters Nancy (Mark) Fuller, Karen George, Gale (John) Baum, and Diane (Scott) Boson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart: Ashley Fuller, Adam Fuller, Sarah Fuller, Sam (Kelley) Baum, Molly (Walter) Landwehr, Paul Baum (Haley), Emma (Connor) Cullian, and Nate Boson. His impact on their lives will be forever cherished. Patrick was preceded in death by his parents, as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
