Peggy Kay Ule, 63 of Auburndale, passed away on Tuesday, December 5th, 2023, at her home.
A memorial service will be held at 1 pm on January 6th, 2024 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Auburndale. Visitation will be from 1 pm until the time of service. Reverend Mark Lundgren will officiate.
Peggy was born April 6th, 1960, in Wisconsin Rapids to Donald Zabel and Sally (Hetze) Fry.
She attended Auburndale High School.
On December 11th, 1976, she married her first and only love Keith Ule at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Auburndale, WI.
With her passing, she just missed her 47th anniversary. Peggy cherished family gatherings such as graduations, birthdays (except her own), Packer games, and Holidays when everyone was together.
She loved her pets in a way you can’t imagine. She had the fattest cats ever seen. She enjoyed her flowers in the spring. She would take pictures to show how beautiful they were. Peggy spent her life loving and spending time with her family, most of all her grandchildren. She had a big heart with lots of love. She will be deeply missed.
Peggy is survived by her husband Keith, and daughters Jamie (Ryan) Horswill of Marshfield, and Amanda of Plover.
Six grandchildren, Collin Horswill, Aria Horswill, Justin Sautner, Karma Ule, Brooklyn Ule, and Charlie Ule.
She is survived by her siblings Debbie (George) Derfus of Marshfield, Larry Zabel of Pittsville, Donna Zabel of Mosinee, and Dan (Jenny) Zabel of Milladore. She is further survived by her Mother and Father-In-Law, LaVerne and Norman Ule of Auburndale, and sisters-in-law Kim (Joe) Vanderleest of Auburndale, and Kandy (Glen) Watson of Edgerton.
Many cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Sally Fry and Donald Zabel, her stepfather Herbert Fry, and her brother Bian Zabel.
