Pong Sun “Jeana” Sutton

Pong Sun “Jeana” Sutton, 69, Stratford, took her final walk with Jesus holding her hand and leading her to Heaven on Thursday, June 10, 2021.

Jeana was born on July 4, 1951, in Seoul, South Korea. She married Warren Sutton on July 8, 1974, in South Korea. After their marriage, they moved around the world for Warren’s military duties where they eventually settled in Stratford, WI. Jeana worked at Land O’Lakes in Spencer, WI for 35 years where she retired in 2014. Her hobbies included gardening, crocheting, and cooking/baking. She enjoyed family vacations, camping, hiking, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Warren; daughter, Katharine (Shawn) Butalla of Kronenwetter, WI; daughter Lee Ann (Kevin) Meier of Franklin, WI; grandchildren Bryn, Adyson, and Reid Butalla; Leilani, Landon, and Kayden Meier. She is also survived by brother YI, Han Su and wife of Seoul, South Korea; sister YI, Pong Suk and husband of Pusan, South Korea; sister YI, Pong Yo of Pusan, South Korea; brother YI, Han Chun and wife of Pusan, South Korea; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, YI, Tae Pok and Song, Kyong Som; and her two sisters, YI, Pong Im and Yi, Pong Chin.

Jeana was a very important part of our family and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, June 21, 2021, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in March Rapids with visitation from 10:00 am until service time. Rev. Philip Wilde will officiate. The service will be live-streamed at www.facebook.com/rembsfuneralhomes. Sauter/Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family.
