Raffaele and Irma Alaimo

Raffaele M. Alaimo, 64, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at his home in Marshfield.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield, where the visitation will be from 11:00 am until service time. Rev. Keith Kitzhaber will officiate. Entombment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Milwaukee.

Raffaele was born on December 14, 1956 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Salvatore and Irma (Mitrano) Alaimo.

Ralph was born with autism and patiently tried to cope with his disabilities. His mother, Irma was very devoted to him and advocated for him. Ralph was gregarious and engaging with staff and at times humorously animated to communicate his needs toward others. He was a sweet soul. He enjoyed and showed his intelligence by completing many simple and complex puzzles in his lifetime. Ralph looked forward to van rides, music, singing and reciting lyrics from commercials. He was happy with company from the caregivers and guardian. He greatly missed his loving mother but is now reunited with her and family in heaven. We will always remember and miss you Ralph. See you in the morning. We love you!

Ralph is survived by his brother, Salvatore Alaimo, Jr. of Milwaukee and his sister, Marianna Woynilko and his brother-in-law and co-guardian, John A. Woynilko, of Friendship.

He was predeceased by his parents, Salvatore, Sr. and Irma Alaimo.

The family extends special thanks to Ripple Behavioral Solutions for Ralph to thrive in the community, Community Care, Marshfield Medical Center and Heartland Hospice Care.
