Robert “Bob” G. Leher, 81, Junction City, passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at his home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church in Rudolph with Rev. Alan Guanella officiating. Burial will follow in All Souls Cemetery, Rudolph, where military rites will be conducted by American Legion Post 485 – Rudolph.

Visitation will be from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm on Monday, October 2, 2023 at Martens/Rembs Funeral Home in Junction City and from 9:30 am until service time at church on Tuesday.

Bob was born on August 22, 1942 in Wisconsin Rapids to Robert and Jeanette (Akey) Leher. He graduated from Rudolph High School. On October 8, 1966 he was united in marriage to Nancy Smith at St. Philip in Rudolph. He served in the United States Army National Guard from 1964 – 1970.

Bob enjoyed boating, motorcycling, going to NASCAR races, Brewers and Packers, traveling with friends, and being with his wife, kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. He also loved driving semi, collecting model tractors, driving around on Fergie, playing guitar, and listening to his good friends play their music.

He was a member of the American Legion, Rudolph Volunteer Fire Department, and Rudolph River Rovers Snowmobile Club.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy, son, Brandon (Sheli) Leher of Mosinee, daughters, Sheri (Brian) Grzywacz of Hatley and Jennifer (John) Guerndt of Mosinee, 7 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. He is further survived by his siblings, Janet Krekowski, Barbara (Denny) Fuller, Kathy Leher, Patti (John) VanAston, and Richard (Jody) Leher.
