Ronald J. Hansen, 76, Marshfield, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at Marshfield Medical Center.

Ronald was born on September 21, 1945 in Marshfield, to Andrew and Dorothy (Aschenbrenner) Hansen. He attended Marshfield Senior High School where he played baseball and pitched 9 no-hitters. After graduation, he served his country in the Wisconsin Army National Guard. On April 16, 1966 he married the love of his life, Sandra J. Michalski at St. John’s Catholic Church, Marshfield.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and attending his grandchildren’s sporting events. He also followed the Milwaukee Bucks and liked watching golf, especially Tiger Woods.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sandy and their daughters, Lori (Joe) Krawczyk of Hugo, MN and Heidi (Don) Tempesta of Mount Pleasant, WI. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Sophie (fiance – Zack Mitchell) Krawczyk, Sam Krawczyk, Kylie Krawczyk, Alex Tempesta and Ava Tempesta.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Bob Hansen, and sisters Colleen Rau and Carole Francel.
